🧀🥩 Cheesesteak Egg Rolls
🧂 Ingredients (Makes ~10 egg rolls):

1 lb (450g) thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin is best)

1 tablespoon oil or butter

1/2 onion, finely diced

1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced (optional but classic)

Salt and pepper, to taste

6–8 slices provolone cheese (or use Cheez Whiz or mozzarella)

10 egg roll wrappers
-
Oil for frying
🔥 Instructions:
1. Cook the filling:

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add onion and bell pepper; sauté until soft.

Add sliced steak, season with salt & pepper, and cook until just browned.

Let cool slightly, then chop everything into small pieces.
2. Assemble the rolls:

Lay an egg roll wrapper like a diamond.

Place a slice of cheese (or shredded cheese) in the center.

Add about 2–3 tablespoons of the steak mixture on top.

Roll tightly: fold bottom point over filling, tuck in sides, then roll up. Seal the edge with water.
3. Fry:

Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry egg rolls 2–3 at a time until golden and crispy (about 3–4 minutes).

Drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
