🥘 Hamburger Potato Casserole
Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced (Yukon Gold or Russet work best)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or use cream of cheddar or cream of chicken)

1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

Cooking spray or butter (for greasing dish)
🔪 Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Brown the Beef:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion until browned. Add garlic in the last minute. Drain excess grease.

Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Mix the Sauce:

In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with milk and 1 cup of cheese.

Assemble:

Layer half the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the baking dish.

Spread half the beef mixture over the potatoes.

Pour half the soup mixture over the top.

Repeat layers: potatoes → beef → sauce.
