🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie
🛒 Ingredients
-
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
-
2 large eggs
-
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
-
½ cup granulated sugar
-
½ cup packed brown sugar
-
½ cup all-purpose flour
-
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
-
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
¼ tsp salt
🔪 Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the unbaked pie shell into a pie dish.
-
Mix the filling:
-
In a large bowl, whisk eggs until light and foamy (about 1–2 minutes).
-
Add melted butter, both sugars, flour, salt, and vanilla. Stir until well combined.
-
Fold in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
-
-
Assemble:
-
Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
-
-
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. (It may look slightly soft in the middle—this is normal and gives it a gooey center.)
-
Cool for at least 1 hour before slicing. Serve warm or at room temp.
-
Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence!
✅ Tips
-
For a gooier center, slightly underbake by 5 minutes.
-
Want a firmer pie? Chill before serving.
-
Can be made a day ahead and reheated briefly in the oven.
