🍋 Creamy Lemon Pasta with Dried Meat
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

200g (7 oz) pasta (like fettuccine or linguine)

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup dried meat, thinly sliced (e.g., bresaola, prosciutto, beef jerky, or cured sausage)

½ cup heavy cream

1 tbsp lemon zest

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

¼ cup grated Parmesan

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional: fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Cook pasta
Boil in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain. -
Sauté garlic & dried meat
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add dried meat and cook briefly—just until fragrant and lightly crisped (about 1–2 minutes). -
Add cream & lemon
Stir in cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan until smooth. Adjust with pasta water to reach a silky consistency. -
Combine
Toss in cooked pasta. Stir to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. -
Serve
Plate hot, topped with extra cheese, herbs, and a bit more lemon zest if desired.
