Here’s a mouthwatering recipe for Crunchy Parmesan Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce — tender chicken with a golden, cheesy crust, paired with a rich garlic cream sauce. It’s elegant enough for guests and easy enough for a cozy dinner at home.

🍗 Crunchy Parmesan Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce

🧂 Ingredients (Serves 4)

🍗 For the Parmesan Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to even thickness)

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated (fresh is best)

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

🧄 For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp flour (for thickening)

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)

  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: ½ tsp Italian seasoning or a pinch of nutmeg

👩‍🍳 Instructions

✅ Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture, pressing to adhere.

  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken for about 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temp). Remove and keep warm.

✅ Step 2: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  2. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to make a roux.

  3. Slowly whisk in cream, then stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened. Add optional seasoning if desired.

✅ Step 3: Serve

Place crispy chicken on plates and spoon creamy garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with parsley, extra cheese, or lemon zest if you like.

📝 Tips & Variations:

  • Add mushrooms or spinach to the sauce for extra flavor and nutrients.

  • Make it spicy: add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.

  • Serve over mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, or roasted veggies.
