1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix

1Β½ cups cold milk

1 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)

1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip (or whipped cream)

β Step 1: Prepare the Pudding

In a medium bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes.

Once it starts to thicken, stir in the sour cream until smooth. Chill briefly while prepping the cake.
β Step 2: Assemble the Layers

In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread half of the cubed angel food cake on the bottom.

Spoon half of the cherry pie filling over the cake cubes.

Add the rest of the cake cubes in a second layer.

Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the top and spread gently to cover.

Top with the entire tub of Cool Whip, spreading it into an even layer.
