🥦🍄 Broccoli and Mushroom Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

2 cups broccoli florets

1½ cups sliced mushrooms (cremini, button, or shiitake)

2 tablespoons oil (vegetable, sesame, or olive)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (optional)

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium is fine)

1 teaspoon sesame oil (for flavor, optional)

1 tablespoon water (for steam/sauté)

Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes or black pepper
Instructions:

Prep the Veggies:

Wash and chop broccoli into bite-sized florets.

Slice mushrooms thinly.

Stir-Fry:

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add garlic (and ginger, if using). Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes until they begin to soften and release liquid.

Add broccoli and a splash of water. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil.

Toss everything together to coat evenly and cook another minute.
