Posted on July 31, 2025
Here’s a quick and tasty recipe for Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps — perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep! These wraps are loaded with seasoned chicken, melty cheese, and garlicky flavor, all tucked into a warm tortilla.

🧄🧀 Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Ingredients (Makes 4 wraps):

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or use oregano + basil)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (optional, for heat)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or cheddar, pepper jack, or a mix)

  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

  • Optional add-ins: spinach, diced tomatoes, caramelized onions, or sautéed mushrooms

  • Optional: ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara for dipping

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Sauté Garlic & Season Chicken:
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
Add cooked chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper if using. Stir to warm through (2–3 minutes).

  2. Assemble Wraps:
Lay tortillas flat. Sprinkle mozzarella in the center of each. Add warm chicken mixture on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan and any optional fillings.

  3. Wrap & Toast:
Fold tortillas burrito-style (sides in, then roll up tightly).
Place seam-side down in a lightly greased skillet or panini press over medium heat. Toast 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  4. Serve:
Slice in half and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

🧠 Tips & Variations:

  • Swap chicken with rotisserie, leftover grilled chicken, or even shredded turkey.

  • Add fresh herbs like parsley or basil for brightness.

  • Make it a buffalo chicken wrap by adding a drizzle of buffalo sauce.

  • Meal prep tip: Make the filling ahead, refrigerate up to 3 days, and assemble as needed.
