Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Posted on June 23, 2025
Here’s a decadent and crowd-pleasing Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie recipe—like a giant, gooey chocolate chip cookie baked into a buttery pie crust. Perfect with ice cream on top!

🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp salt

🔪 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the unbaked pie shell into a pie dish.

  2. Mix the filling:

    • In a large bowl, whisk eggs until light and foamy (about 1–2 minutes).

    • Add melted butter, both sugars, flour, salt, and vanilla. Stir until well combined.

    • Fold in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).

  3. Assemble:

    • Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

  4. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. (It may look slightly soft in the middle—this is normal and gives it a gooey center.)

  5. Cool for at least 1 hour before slicing. Serve warm or at room temp.

  6. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence!

✅ Tips

  • For a gooier center, slightly underbake by 5 minutes.

  • Want a firmer pie? Chill before serving.

  • Can be made a day ahead and reheated briefly in the oven.
