🥒 Classic Cucumber Salad
Ingredients:

2 large cucumbers (English or Persian are ideal), thinly sliced

½ small red onion, thinly sliced

¼ cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar

1–2 tsp sugar (adjust to taste)

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: fresh dill or parsley, chopped

Instructions:

Slice cucumbers & onion: Use a sharp knife or mandolin for even, thin slices.

Mix dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, sugar, water, salt, and pepper until sugar dissolves.

Combine: Toss cucumbers and onions in a bowl with the dressing. Add chopped herbs if using.

Chill: Refrigerate for at least 20–30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) before serving for best flavor.
