🥪 Fried Bologna Sandwich Recipe (Classic Style)

📝 Ingredients:

  • 2–3 slices bologna (thick-cut or regular)

  • 2 slices of bread (white, brioche, or sandwich rolls)

  • 1 tbsp butter (or mayo for grilling)

  • 1 slice American or cheddar cheese (optional but delicious)

  • Mustard, mayo, or both (optional)

  • Pickles, lettuce, tomato, or onion (optional toppings)

  • Dash of hot sauce (optional)


🔥 Instructions:

1. Prep the Bologna

  • Take a knife and cut a small “X” or 4 shallow slits around the edge of each slice of bologna — this keeps it from bubbling up in the pan.

2. Fry the Bologna

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add bologna slices directly to the dry pan or with a tiny bit of oil.

  • Fry for about 2–3 minutes per side, or until edges are crispy and browned.

  • If using cheese, place it on the bologna during the last 30 seconds to melt.

3. Toast the Bread
