Here’s a simple, colorful, and refreshing Fruit Salad recipe — perfect for breakfast, brunch, picnics, or as a light dessert. It’s vibrant, naturally sweet, and easy to customize!

🍓 Fresh Fruit Salad

Base Fruit Suggestions (mix & match):

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1 cup grapes (halved)

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks

  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced

  • 1 orange, segmented

  • 1 banana, sliced (add just before serving to prevent browning)

  • Optional: mango, watermelon, apple slices, or pomegranate seeds

🍯 Optional Citrus-Honey Dressing:

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)

  • Mix and drizzle over salad just before serving

🥣 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Fruit:

    • Wash and chop all fruit into bite-sized pieces. Pat dry if wet.

  2. Combine:

    • In a large bowl, gently toss all the fruit together.

  3. Add Dressing (Optional):

    • Drizzle honey-lime mixture over the fruit and toss gently to coat.

  4. Chill or Serve:

    • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours for flavors to meld. Best served cold.

🍽 Tips:

  • Don’t overmix — stir gently to avoid bruising soft fruits.

  • Add fresh mint for a burst of flavor.

  • For a creamy version, mix in vanilla yogurt or a spoonful of whipped cream.

Want a tropical twist, a no-added-sugar version, or one made with frozen fruit?
