Here’s a crowd-pleasing recipe for Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges — crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated with bold garlicky, cheesy flavor. They make an irresistible appetizer, side dish, or game day snack.


🧄🧀 Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges

Ingredients (Serves 4–6):

  • 4 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves minced garlic)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Optional: Ranch or garlic aioli for dipping


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Prep Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease.

2. Cut & Season Potatoes:

  • Slice each potato into 8 wedges (cut in half lengthwise, then into quarters).

  • Place wedges in a large bowl. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning until evenly coated.

3. Add Parmesan:

  • Toss in half the Parmesan (1/4 cup) and mix well. Reserve the rest for later.

4. Bake:

  • Arrange wedges in a single layer, skin side down, on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping once halfway, until golden and crispy.

5. Finish:

  • While hot, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and fresh parsley.


🍽️ Serve With:

  • Garlic aioli, ketchup, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce

  • As a side to burgers, grilled chicken, or steak


🔄 Tips & Variations:

  • Use sweet potatoes for a twist.

  • Add a pinch of chili flakes for heat.

  • Want them extra crispy? Soak wedges in cold water for 30 mins before baking, then pat dry.
