A grilled cheese sandwich is the ultimate comfort food—simple, crispy, and oozing with melted cheese. Here’s how to make a perfect classic version, plus a few fun variations if you want to level it up.


🧀 Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)

  • 2–3 slices of cheese (American, cheddar, Swiss, or a mix)

  • 1–2 tablespoons butter (softened) or mayo

Instructions:

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice (or spread with mayo for a golden crust).

  2. Place cheese slices between the unbuttered sides of the bread.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat.

  4. Place the sandwich in the pan, buttered side down. Cook for 2–4 minutes until golden.

  5. Flip and grill the other side until cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

  6. Remove, rest for 1 minute, slice, and serve!
