🧁 Simple Muffins (Base Recipe)
Ingredients (makes 10–12 muffins):

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

½ cup (100g) sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup (240ml) milk

¼ cup (60ml) vegetable oil or melted butter

1 egg
-
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin or grease it lightly.

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk milk, oil (or melted butter), egg, and vanilla.

Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened — don’t overmix.

Spoon batter into muffin cups about ¾ full.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
