πͺ Instructions:
-
Marinate the beef:

Mix the sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and black pepper. Set aside. -

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add bell peppers (and onion if using). Stir-fry 2β3 minutes until slightly tender-crisp. Remove and set aside. -
Cook the steak:
Add the remaining oil to the pan. Add beef in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Stir-fry 2β3 minutes until browned and just cooked through. -
Combine:
Return peppers to the pan. Add garlic and ginger. Stir for 30 seconds. -
Add sauce:
Pour in the sauce and toss everything together. Cook for 1β2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the meat and veggies. -
Serve:
Serve hot over steamed rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice.
π‘ Tips:
-
Slice beef thin against the grain for tenderness.
-
Add mushrooms, snow peas, or broccoli for extra veggies.
