🥐 Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:

1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough (Pillsbury or similar)

½ pound breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or spicy – your choice)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

Optional: ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional: pinch of garlic powder or crushed red pepper
Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat to 375°F (190°C).

Cook Sausage:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.

Make the Filling:

In a bowl, mix the hot sausage with softened cream cheese (and shredded cheese if using) until combined. You can add garlic powder or spices if desired.

Prepare Crescent Dough:

Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

Fill and Roll:

Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle.

Roll each one up like a crescent, starting from the wide end toward the point.

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
