🥔🍔 Tater Tot Sloppy Joe Skillet
🧂 Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)

1/2 medium onion, diced

1/2 green bell pepper, diced (optional)

2 cloves garlic, minced

3/4 cup ketchup
-
1 tbsp brown sugar
-
1 tbsp yellow mustard
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/4 tsp salt, plus pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1 (28–32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
🥘 Instructions:
1. Cook the meat mixture
In a large oven-safe skillet (like cast iron), cook:

Ground beef over medium-high heat until browned (drain excess grease).

Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté 3–4 minutes until softened.
2. Add Sloppy Joe sauce
Stir in:

Ketchup
-
Brown sugar
-
Mustard
-
Worcestershire sauce
-
Salt and pepper
Simmer for 3–5 minutes until thick and saucy.
3. Add cheese & tots

Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar.

Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the top of the beef mixture.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheese over the tots.
4. Bake

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Bake skillet (uncovered) for 25–30 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
5. Serve
Let cool for a few minutes, then serve straight from the skillet. Top with optional chopped parsley, green onions, or a drizzle of ranch.
